The Student Council gathered on Wednesday night with other students from the Warrnambool region to celebrate their achievements as leaders in their school communities. Earlier in the year, we were challenged to plan and carry out a project that would improve the health and wellbeing of our community. The student council, inspired by Hugh van Cuylenburg from the Resilience Project, decided to begin a gratitude project. The council hoped to inspire our community to be more grateful as this positive attitude can help improve mental health and overall wellbeing. From this, the Gratitude Tree was born. We are all very proud of the Student Council and their commitment to this project.
